Hot Water Heater ?

Hello, First off just want to say I am a newbie at boating. I have been following this site and think its one of the best ones i've seen. I'm hoping someone could help me. I recently purchase a 2000' regal 2460. I was told it has a hot water heater. There is a 'hot water heater' switch on the panel which i turned on but i still only get cold water. Am i missing something ? was this an option that needed to be installed with the boat that never did ? Is there someone out there that has this model boat ? Any advice would be great. I was told that mine had a water heater but that it didn't work. I planned to replace it anyway but was pleased to find that it had already been removed. I installed and plumbed the new one in a few hours and have been enjoying hot water ever since.

You need to be sure that the water heater is filled with water before you turn it on. It will be hard to miss and should be in the bilge on the water line side if you have one.
