Hour Meter Not Working

I wanted to see if anyone would know why my hour meter would stop working. I had it on the lake today and it never moved off 190.5 hours. The tachometer, speedometer and all of the other gauges are working fine. Of course the hour meter is digital all of the other gauges are analog besides the depth indicator. I did notice a blinking symbol to the left that looks like a battery needs charging.

This is a 4.3L Volvo/Penta in a 2002 Chaparral.

Ayuh,... Check for 12V, at it's (+) stud, with the key on...

Did not know it had one, sorry. I assumed everything on the guage panel ran off of the boat batteries. Thanks for your help.
