Is there any way to read the hours on 2001 Mercury 200 EFI OB? Meaning can we plug it into a computer and have it tell us the hours or should the engine have come with a meter?
I'm interested in buying 2001 boat with 200 HP Mercury and the owner claims that the engine only has 90 hours on it....and not from a rebuild. She's claiming 90 hours, but the boat doesn't have a meter that I'm aware of. I can't imagine that low hours on a 9 year old engine. If true, that can't be good having so little use can it?
