My question is reguarding a 1982 15 HP Chrysler Sea King. Model # VWB 52118A and Serial # 2022. How are the coils connected to the stator plate? I see that it is connected by a "Coil Wedge Spring" in my manual, but how is this disconnected? I know this is probably a stupid question, but I just wanted to have some background information before I start tearing stuff up.

Thanks in advance!
Jacob

If it's like my 55 magneto ignition, you need to bend the bottom tab up to remove the coil. That's what my official Chrylser manual says anyways.
