How Can I get a manual for a 2004 2025 Lund?

Just purchased a 2004 Lund 2025 Pro V Magnum LE. New to the Lund fold. Actually have always had Rangers etc...New to the "multi-purpose" fold. I bought a new house and just could not handle pulling my beautiful fiberglass Ranger over a 4 mile dirt road every time to go fishing. Sold it. Bought a 2025 LE that I think will make me feel better about the dirt road. Anyway, need a manual for the boat if anyone has and idea where to go. Also would be interested in hearing from anyone that has this model OR has went from the pro bass model glass to the aluminum and do you have any regrets etc? I bought the boat right, so would not be hard to turn it if I can't get used to it. I've basically had a bass style boat of some sort for over 25 years... A lot for my first post. Thanks much,

Jefrobie, welcome aboard iboats.

Getting a manual might be tough, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Most everything in there relates to things like warranty, seamanship, boating safety, trailering, checklists and stuff like there. Yes, there are topics regarding electrical systems (fuses), controls, livewells, maintenance and winterizing, but as a long-time boat owner, you probably already know that stuff, too.

What might be more valuable would be a manual for the motor. If you don't have one, you might try e-Bay. My boat came with the standard tiny Mercury manual, and it was okay, but I found a good service manual on e-Bay for $.99 + s/h (no one else bid on it, so I got lucky, I guess).

Regarding the switch from a glass bass boat to aluminum multi-species, my brother-in-law did the same thing this past summer (from Ranger to Alumacraft). He got tired of getting washed by bigger boats when some would pass too close on bigger lakes. I think he likes the higher freeboard, and that he's pretty happy with it so far. -Ken

Ken, thanks for the reply. I do have all the other manuals, big motor, kicker motor/electronics etc. You are right about most of the basics being the same. I've got a friend that fished pretty hard core bass tournaments, sponsored etc. Always fished the biggest latest Triton glass. However, now has a Lund Pro V and would not go back. I'm hoping to have the same experience! thanks again, Jeff
