I have a 19' CC and recently I sucked up about a gallon of salt water threw the gas vent. I have sucked out most if not all of the water. Is their any aditave that will help get any residual/ salt out of the tank. Thank You

If you can get a fuel sample and put it in a jar you will see separation in about 30 minutes to an hour. You could pump all the fuel out via the fuel luine and i would ABSOLUTELY install a water separator in the system.

The "additive" is dry gas but E-10 fuel will also absorb allot of the water

Thanks Guys, I have a water seperator. I have a 60 gallon tank. E-10 fuel? Not sure what that is but I will look it up. Vinegar? With the gas? The tank is very hard to get to.

The water separator with the clear plastic bowl with the drain petcock would be really good for this....just keep checking and draining until it clears up. If it's a carbed motor, then drain carb float chambers several times. Good Luck!
