I have a 21 foot Privateer with a 150 Evinrude
The large engine is great for everything but crabbing I need to go really slow and dont want to tow a bucket I would like to change props so I can idle at higherRPMs and the boat move slower
and maybe not load up so fast Thanks

You could re-prop it, but you would run the risk of over-reving it at WOT. Have you ruled-out a trolling motor? That's whats river-rato down here with out bass and flats rigs (install the best tm we can afford). It gives you the added benifit of high manueverability while not hindering your other performance in any way.
You could also install a "prop-gaurd", and it may cut down your idle speed enough.

Caspee,

The easiest way is to install a trolling plate.

Look here for one: www.cabellas.com
