On the bottom of my boat below what looks like the stringers that the motor mounts sit on I have cracks in the gel coat that run from the transom forward for about 3 feet on both sides. Im not sure if these are trailer stress cracks caused from the previous owner or if there is something wrong where the stringers are causing the cracks. You can tell they have been there for awhile and I never get any water in the boat but I just think its odd that there on both sides in almost the same exact spots. Anything that I should look for to tell if its just gel coat cracks or if I have problems. The boat is a 1996 18' openbow.
