I live in Tucson AZ. where the elevation is about 2400ft. My motor (honda B100S ser#1403343) runs great in the desert lakes down here. But this weekend I am going to the White Mountains in AZ. elevation about 7500-8000ft. Can anyone tell me how to adjust my carb for the higher altitude? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

First of all, bring a spare set of plugs before you set out. These engines can be pretty forgiving in these situations but if you find you are running rich you have a pilot screw that is adjustable. It is the brass flathead screw near the top of the carb.Tweak that carefully in in little at a time and referance how much you tweaked it so you can reset it for flatland.Hopefully you wo'nt have to do anything.

Thank you very much. I will take extra plugs & see how it runs when I get there. I appreciate the help.
