I'm working on an engine that has been sitting for a few years and the inside has a lot of fuel/oil gunk on the bottom and on some of the lines. Is there a good way to clean the engine out without damaging anything like the electrical components?
Some of the fuel lines have this gunk on them and I want to make sure that they aren't leaking. From what I can tell, I'm pretty sure that they're not leaking but I just want to make sure. Is there a good way to do this?
Here's a look at what I'm up against.
