Hi guys is there a math eguation for this or what. Remember its me with the (HOOTER). Did get the hole shot im looking for it seems it wasn't the prop. Just needed to decarb the motor with sea foam. Now it will jerk a not in your ars on the take off. Even brought tears to my father inlaws eyes this past weekend. It was his first ride in a bass boat that runs 65mph. We were running about 55mph, I looked over at him, he had tears in his eyes. I said are you ok? He said yea. Then I opened her up. His reply was, OH GOD!! Thanks Joe

You need to know your gear ratio, accurate top speed and accurate top rpm's. There are several on the web. I use a plastic card with a thumbwheel. Kinda neat being portable.

I'd pay big bucks to see ya let go of the wheel and work that thing with both hands at WFO......

Would 14% slip be high or within average.

Thanks guys for the info. I am working on getting all the spects. The only thing I am going to have a problem with is the pitch of the prop. I don't know what it is no numbers on it and it has been worked. Believe me WALLEYEHED it was so funny, so gratifing. My father inlaw is a real bad ars or he thinks he is anyway. But when I saw those tears and the surprised look on his face, I knew I had to give it WOT. I couldn't just give him a little sample had to give it all or nothing.LOL I don't know if he will go fishing again in my boat! Thanks again guys, Joe
