How do I find the year of my Mariner outboard?

I bought a small boat with a 25 horse Mariner outboard that runs perfect. I would like to know what it's worth so I need to know what year it is. Does anyone know how to find that out or does anyone know what year it is. SN:0C238074.

Mhm.......Its Magic........Can someone tell me what year my mariner is? I looked every where for numbers and there are only two sets. Both Identical sets of numbers, one stamped, one printed: 40E0 6E9 S 105090
