OK How do I find out the year of my engin?<br />It is a Evinrude 30 HP Model # E30REIC Sn R08619280.<br /> I am guessing it is an 86 due to the R086 part.<br />Correct??????? <br />Thanks,<br />Lee

Nope Lee, it's based on the "EI" in the model number. <br /><br />it's a '91 model E=9, I=1<br /><br />long story short, take the word "INTRODUCES" and look at it as 1234567890. <br /><br />There ya go!
