I have a 2005 Bayliner 185 with a mercruiser 3.0L which has a 14 1/4 x 17 aluminum prop installed right now. My first question after doing lots of reading I think I have found my range of RPM's to be 4400 to 4800 is this correct for a 2005 engine, I was not sure it was the same for an 05 compared to 10 model. Secondly what should I get for a prop if I want more top end speed?
