How do I get my post viewed more in the different section of forums?

I have a thread going under electronics and trolling motors on the repair/restoration section, looking to get it viewed as much as possible as the feedback will determine how I go about my project. The project is something I want to start in the matter of hours, not weeks.

Here at iboats, ya post in the forum that most closely describes yer issue,...
And, Wait...

If ya posted a good, easy to read question,...
Somebody will be along, 'n post an answer, or more likely their Opinion...

Btw,.... Do NOT post a question in more than 1 forum,....
Most posters visit many forums, 'n it causes confusion with multiple same subject posts..

Put an accurate title on it so people who might have an answer will look at it. Don't put a title like "Somebody help". Put a title like "Help required to wire trolling motor".

A thread with a title like "pictures of my ex-wife nekkid" will get a lot of views... but no more pertinent answers than an accurate title.
