All-

I have a new Faria, Euro style tach. The engine did not have a tach when I bought it, but the controls have a tach wire that runs to the terminal strip on the side of the motor. The terminal strip has the location for the "purple wire". The issue is...

What do I hook the pruple wire to, on the engine, in order to get an RPM signal?
