heres the wires i have coming out of the bracket. looks like a lamp cord going to some kind of stop switch, and the red and green going to the pump.

and on my controller i have the red green and blue.

I guess I need some sort of relays and what not?

dude at the boat shop said its about $120 for the harness to make it work or whatever.... but i was looking for something a bit less expensive.

rigging something up to work is fine with me.

yup you need a solenoid.iknow the blue goes up and the green goes down because i put a "on-off-on" switch on by stern to aid in installing my transom saver other than that i would have to take a picture of mine.

i think you may be able to find it here

I recently made a "harness" for mid 80's 115 Johnson. I bought two lawn tractor starter solenoids, and a Momentary On,Off,On switch from my local auto parts store. Less than $20 total. Attach the trim motor leads to the big posts on the solenoids, + battery to the other post, and smaller leads from the momentary switch to activate the solenoids. OMC used the Blue (sky) lead for up, and the green (grass) lead for down. There should be a black ground lead in there somewhere as well.

Looks like a 2 wire trim motor. On a 2 wire motor you'll use the relays rather than a solenoid. The other wires you refer to are for the sender for the trim gauge.
