how do i know which size is the right proppler for 125 force

2 proppleres came with my engine and i dont know which one is the right one. can eny one pz tell me? and if i dont have my rpm, and water gauge is that ok?

maybe you should stick with prop.....
and use whatever the manufacturer of your boat recommended.....:rolleyes:

Never hesitate to ask any questions there are no stupid Qs.
Without the size of prop and the max rpm and speed its a guess on the prop and wheather you have the right setup.Tell us about your boat brand/model size,
your typical activities,load and give us the prop sizes usually marked on the prop -- X -- (diameter by pitch)without the first specs I mentioned your motor could be operating outside the recommended rpm range , could result in premature failure of the motor,poor performance and wasted gas at $4+ a gallon.If you read some of the other posts you'll get the idea on props and
setup.

thanks allot sir

my boat is a 19' 1987 bayliner with a small cabin. i have a 125 hp force outbboard engine so thats all i know and i dont have a rpm guege on my boat. the old owner removed it to put a gps.

Check for the prop numbers on the props.Do you know what your typical load and activity might be.My guess is they may have had a prop for skiing or heavy loads and another for average operation.Lower pitch would be for skiing/loads etc higher pitch for everyday use.
