Hello,
I have a 1978 Glastron SSV-176 fiberglass boat. How can I make it look beeter? Where the sun hasn't been on it it looks great, grey and silver speckles, but the rest is faded. Will rubbing compound and wax do the job?

TIA,
Eric

It will help it. 3M makes a fiberglass hull restorer and wax. A power buffer works good also.

It's a labor of love but worth it.

Did my Wellcraft last weekend with a Milwaukee 11 amp polisher and Star-Brite medium cut rubbing compound and after the compound the hull was free of oxidation and fine imperfections and was shiney like new, finished with Collinte wax it took 2 hours to do and took off 30 years of wear and tear ....it looks great now.
