How do I/O mounted Trolling motors handle on boats with power steering?

I have a 20.5' Bayliner 2050 bowrider and I want to add a trolling motor. I am considering an I/O mounted unit like the MK E.M. I have the Merc 4.3 with power steering and it isn't exactly easy to steer when the motor isn't running. Is this an issue or am I overthinking it? Maybe I would be better served with a bow or transom mount with remote control? Any advice for my application would be appreciated.
