How do I remove bugs from my freshly epoxied clear coat floor?

I installed a hardwood deck on my old Starcraft and put a clear coat epoxy on it...I have no garage so it was done outside. The epoxy seemed to attract gnats like a magnet and now they are imbedded in my floor for eternity.....anything I can do?..I still need to put another coat on tomorrow....

try a soap and water wash.....if not......sand

Ayuh,.... Sand, then vanish over it,... Epoxy don't like the sun, at All...

Yeah, sand and another application.

For the final coat light up some punks or mosquito coils around the boat to keep the critters away.

This is correct!!! You must apply Marine Varnish with UV protectant over the epoxy.

I am applying marine spar varnish on top....do I sand the epoxy before I apply the varnish?

Yes, sand it to get a good bond. I like a 150 or 120 grit when sanding epoxy.

How many coats do you have on your wood now ?

Depending..120 might be a bit rough for your finish coats..320 is more of a finish coat sanding profile..
