Is this a trick question? The 2 model numbers you posted are identical. But to answer your question, the model and serial numbers should be on a boilerplate tag somewhere on the transom clamp. If not found, there should be a quarter-size welch plug somewhere on the block close to one of the heads. If you find it, the model number may be stamped in it - not sure what years that was done.

I'm sorry about that i've never been that good at typing. It was supposed to say 100ESL71C or 100ESL71A and the tag on the clamp is gone and the quarter size little plug thing say's J3505745 Thanks Delbert

If the tag is gone off the bracket, you are scrogged. The other number is only the serial number. I suppose the part you need is something they would have to special order and can't just match it up?

I guess I'm screwed cause the place is sea-way marine and it's probably in CA. and I'm in UT. Thanks for all the help. Delbert

Maybe not such a problem, because there are only two models, and the parts are all displayed on the BRP parts catalog site for both models.

Whatever you need is either the same for both models, probably 95%, or will be clearly defined in the parts diagrams and parts lists for your particular model.
