i found a # 25602e00658 stamped in what looks like a round freeze plug

cannot find a model #

where do i look for it/

First, find the plug with the numbers on it.
Then post the numbers here.

Okay, you got that part right.

Model number is 25602, that is the one we need.

1976 Evinrude 25HP.
