How do you find out how much a boat sold for new in 1995 ?

i'm about to buy a Grumman 1676TC,i would like to know what the boat,motor & trailer sold for new in 1995! How can i find out?<br />thanks<br />eek

I would think that on a boat this new, the seller would still have the paperwork. I know I would. Is there some reason he dosn't want you to see it? I'm sure a dealer could look up the price in his records, if he was willing to do so. Maybe someone else has a better source than me.

Hi eek, I don't know if you've bought your boat by now or not. I've been away for the last couple of months or I would have responded sooner. If you want to find a used boat price try www.nadaguides.com. This was originally the book for used car prices but they handle everything now. I checked as well as I could, not knowing what equipment you're getting, and for a bare bones boat the low retail was $2400 and average retail, $3080. They also have prices for outboard motors and trailers. Hope you got a good deal.<br /><br />Ron
