How do you like your Bombard Aerotec inflatable?

Is the V air floor a winner in practicallity, or marketing hype? What else do you like or dislike?

I haven't really heard of Bombard, I'm more familiar with the well known brands like Zodiac. I did look at it though and it looks very much like the Zodiac Futura. Air floors can make for good portability though, that's for sure. The V, of course, can help improve speed but it isn't as good as a RIB. RIB's cost a lot more though.

Dislike-PVC<br />Like-Hypalon<br /><br />I chose the Achilles over the Zodiac for this one reason alone. Bombard is a subdivision or whatever of Zodiac. Same mat'ls, just a little cheaper for whatever reason I'm not sure. The zodiac 1 pc. air/v floor was a little more than the Achilles 2 pc. air floor, when I asked why I was told it had something to do with the euro and Zodiacs yearly price increase versus the Achilles pricing which has remained stable for several years. Anyways. you can tell I'm a big fan of the hypalon, had some bad experiences with PVC breaking down. Anyways, they're still nice boats. Good luck with your choice!
