how do you remove the trim motor on this 88 johnson gt150

my trim motor is broke. how do you get the third screw out. it is right under the motor mount. i unbolted the engine and laid it back off my jackplate. i was able to get the screw half way out till it hit the motor mount..... can i take the whole trim unit (hydrolics and all) off the mount? i see there is 3 bolts on either side.

i figured it out. the whole trim unit (hydrolics an all) must come out to remove the trim motor. i unhooked the fast tilt ram lifted the engine up and propped it up so it wouldnt fall. the three bolts on each side come out. tilted the top side of the trim unit back (had to lightly pry on it) lifted it up and there it was....... ; took the motor apart looks like one of the magnets on the case came loose and stuck to the armature. maybe i will try to fix it and have a spare.

got the new one on and its workin great......for future reference DONT TAKE THE FILL PLUG LOOSE WITHOUT ENGINE PROPPED UP!! i like my fingers
