How do you set the inner shaft of a YL series Mallory distributor?.

I have the Mallory distributor on my boat and thanks to you guys I think I know what my timing issues are caused by. The shaft slipped from the hold down clamp under the point plate.I'm going to take it apart today and was wondering if there are alignment marks to set it where it's supposed to be. Thanks
