How do you set the timing on a Ford Engine?

How do you set the timing on Bayliner? The Engine is a 2.3Lr 110hp 4 cylinder Ford i/o with the omc outdrive.

Turn the distributor while watching the timing marks with a timing light at idle rpm. When the proper degree marks are lined up. Tighten down the distributor and recheck.
