How do you split upper and lower units on Merc 110, 9.8 hp

I'm trying to remove the top at the lower cowling and driveshaft housing. I have non running '73 7.5 and '74 9.8 with a seized swivel. It looks like it's held on by 6 nuts on studs in the block down the sides and a screw at the back from the top. I've removed these and hammered on the studs to push up. I used a UHMW block so not to damage anything. It didn't budge. Am I missing a bolt ?

The swivel is truly seized. I used a heat lamp on it for 24 hours, I didn't want to burn the paint if I could get it to move,,and couple of 5' levers . If I got even a tiny wiggle, I could work it free. It didn't budge either. Even stubborn old fools do give up. Besides I have a working one on the 7.5 , if I can split it.

I'ld appreciate any help.

pull the power head (6 nuts). then grab the power head with two hands and wiggle. you need to break the gasket loose

My recollection (from when I took my Merc 7.5 apart) is that you have to get the powerhead out of the way because the lower cowling will not fit over the powerhead (or something like that)

I kept taking things off until I got to the parts I wanted to remove, which was just about everything. Never could get the swivel pin out of the mounting bracket.
