how does my etching look?

in my restore thread i posted some pictures of my etching job. good enough? too much? need more? 4 cans, maybe 5....seems like too much

You dont need a heavy coat of etch, just a light coat over the bare spots, like you have there.....now you need a sealer coat of the primer for your paint system, to give you a nice even base to top over Block the sealer coat straight, then paint it.

You should have cleaned the aluminum properly before etching tho..
