Hello, A squirrel got into my radon gas fan (mounted outside ) and chewed up all the wires. I want to repair instead of replacing but cannot for the life of me figure out how this motor comes apart so I can get to where the wires connect inside. Here are pictures, there are no screws bolts etc. visible. The dull aluminum outside ring is the fan. The black inside round part spins. The silver inside round part mounts to the radon fan body, so the black round parts spins with the dull aluminum part. Thanks.

Can't be sure without actually being there...

But it looks to me like its a factory press/crimp holding it together. If so, you can't take it apart.

There's a chance its got some rivets you could drill out...

I cannot find any rivets. It would be such a bummer if it was designed so you cant fix it (I wont go on a rant about how it is ridiculous we keep adding to our landfills so we can equally add to the manufacturer's bottom line...). It is such an easy fix.
