how does this go together ?

Howdy all,, got a question..

got this old motor from my uncle (old country turd) and it runs has spark all that great stuff it just needed a water pump replaced lol... he pulled it apart got the new parts and left it in a bucket for 5 years
motor is in great shape its old ..

we think its a 1966 ... it has a tiller handle but NO reverse or neutral only forward and the throttle is a lever on the side lol... this has to be the motor Noah used on the ark when him and Moses when trout fishin on the Red sea... i swear it says made by Jesus on the prop lol... ok ok shes old..

My question... i have all the parts.. couple of washers..brass washer lookin thing that holds a spring and a nylon washer that looks like it goes with the spring also and a couple of other little parts....

Where do they go ??? i can see kinda how they all fit together but it doesnt look like it goes on the shaft where my uncle says he remembers it.. on top of the pump housing it sits Weird.. ive been lookin for a diagram or something i just need to know how she goes back together
