Whats really bad is i'm a boat mechanic and should know better!
This summer i popped the cruiser off the trailer into the water, all ok. Fired her up and off we went, at 6knots till the end of the creek. Then i gave her a little gas onlt to watch as the water temp started rising. I hit nuetral, gave her a little gas maybe she aint circulating. Well it got worse, I had to shut it off. Floated for a while, running everything i could think of thru my soft head. Decided to raise the outdrive and take a look, maybe a bag or something got stuck on the intake. I leaned over the swim platform, and started laughing out loud, iI FORGOT TO TAKE OFF THE HOSE MUFFS the night before, i cranked her up in the driveway! DUUHHH!!! Oh well, one check mark in the stupid column! :D :D :D

Kudo's on at least testing the engine the night before your outing.

Heck I winterized my boat (sobbing) and covered the boat with planks to form a pitched roof, plastic sheeting and a tarp. Stood back to admire my boat "tucked in" for the winter and remembered the battery was under the rear deck.

Dam I love being human. :D

Bob
