how fast does your L-drive 120 go?

Trying to get an average of what is normal.

Mine reads just shy of 40 with a 13 inch - 17 pitch on it.

That sounds good.But the thing to check is the RPM at WOT.
1-2 people 1/2 tank of gas.Then go.5500rpm is optimum.
Do the test.Then post your results.You could be wasting gas with the wrong prop.
I changed from a pair of 17's to a pair of 19P and the fuel consumpition went up by 15%.J

My rpm reads about 5700 at wot. Apparently the boat came with a 19 and the P.O. put a 17 on it.

You might get a little better speed with the 19 but the 17 will probably give better economy.J
