I'm looking at a 1993 Maxum 270 and have never dealt with these boats..I had an 88 Donzi Rigazza and loved it...except for the cabin which I why i got rid of it.

The Maxum I'm looking at has been well taken care of , 5.7, Bravo II, no bottom paint ( the current owner never washed the bottom, very scummy) with unknown hours....the boat appears in great shape...needs a good bath.

Are these well built boats??? can they handle a heavy sea???

Thanks in advance...

it really depends on the care of the engines and drive....I own the 2003 yr 2700 scr...plenty of room for us...we boat in the puget sound and love the boat...it does get crampy sometimes with the 2 of us and 2 dogs..but it does everything we have expected and so far it's been a great boat....takes rough water well....make sure things are secured below decks though......
a good cleaning and wax will go a long way with that boat....keep us informed...
