How long should I flush motor and at what idle?

I just bought a 1989 Force 125 motor and I'm wondering how long i should flush motor and at what idle after coming in from the chesapeake bay?<br />Also where can i get a flush kit that fits that.<br />I have the universal ears but they dont fit right because the inlet on the motor is alkward. Thanks

The muffs come in different styles. The rod between the cups can be manipulated into a more convenient shape to fit your lower unit. I fast idle at about 1000 rpm for about 10-15 minutes or until at operating temp.
