I like to make these things simple . . . 20 ft. x 10 ft. x 3 ft. . . . I don't think there is any way there is more than that in there . . .

Agree, except there are portions that are 4 ft. high, and the ski locker to add and there is also the taper of the bow to subtract, so I thought rounding up the beam might account for stuff, and definitely be a conservatively high estimate . . . :p

These things are fun to me, so please don't see this as an argument. Do you want to elaborate on your method drrpm? We have estimates now ranging from 600 to 375. Don't we have to include the entire bilge? All air space including storage? We need a CAD model . . .

In the end does size really matter? If you have a sealed environment, eventually the air will be dried, I guess you are after a time frame in which case just buy a big one.

If you are on the low $$$ side, I have never had a problem with the air drying pellet.

Trust me - size matters!

I mean, you don't want to over dry the air, do you? :)

:) :) :)

10 minute CAD model of a 20' long, 8' beam bowrider with a tight fitting cover:

Somewhere around 1/3 of that internal volume is probably occupied by seats, engine, hull, equipment, gas tank, console, etc. Free air space is probably somewhere between 300 and 400 cubic feet.....

Note that if your boat was solid aluminum (169 lb/cubic foot) it would weigh over 40 tons!!
