how many people can i take on my 165 airslot wellcraft boat?

I cannot tell from reading the pic - can you?

Seems like the tag max hp 120 load 750# people total cap with fuel and gear 1210#

that's 750 of people if and ONLY IF the total weight of motor batts, fuel, anchor,s, accys, coolers,, rods, tackle, bait, and all other gear does not exceed 460 lbs.... any weight in excess of that is subtracted from passenger capacity.... that said, 5 adults in a 16 foot boat is crowded

I would guess 5 or maybe 6. My last boat boat was a 16.5' and rated for 6. The one I have now is rated for 12 but don't like to take more than 8 or 9.

I have the same boat. For fishing, 3 comfortably and 4 is doable but tight.

It makes more sense to calculate the total weight of the occupants. There are very few 150lb adult men out there. It's 5 people OR 750lbs, whichever is met first. Not like an idiot friend of mine who seems to think that BOTH criteria must be met. (He'd overpower the HP on his boats as long as the weight of the engine was below the published limit)
