Hello all, i have a bit a of a touchy subject here as read about winterizing my boat. I have never done this before, but id like to give it a a try for the first time.
I have a Alpha one 3.OL. As far as the winterizing for the cold, id like to drain the water out of the block. Does anyone know how many plugs i should be looking for on this motor?
I run in fresh water, and it will be stored in the garage.
My plan is to take the boat for a nice run and get it warm. then trailer back home 20 minutes away, hook it up to the muffs to get operating temp again.
Drain the block as much as i can, then hook up the muffs again and run -100 pink or blue antifreeze until it pours out of the exhaust.
Then drain the lower unit and refill with fresh gear lube.
Does this make sense?
once again, how many plugs should i be looking for?
Thanks for reading everyone!
