how much power?

I have a 1975 Larson 16ft with an 85hp <br />(1975) evinrude motor. I want to repower with a 4 stroke motor. Max weight is 1675lbs. How much horse power do I need? Is a 50hp Johnson fuel injected <br />4 stroke enough?
