How much primer

Im working on a 15 1/2 foot fiberglass boat, just wondering if anybody can tell me how much primer I need to prime it. Thanks.

P.S. Ill be rolling it on.

I referenced the Interlux painting guide and the lowest boat length listed is 20 feet. For a boat that length they recommend 3 quarts for single part primers and 2 quarts for two part primers. My personal experience is that you will need at least 2 quarts to get it done.

Until your broke or you have had enough of sanding......:eek: 4 for single part and 3 for two part or more if it under the waterline. Now if you do it right and thing's work out, it would cost you 3-7000 thosand dollar's to get the same result's from a pro...;)

Umm for primer try to spray it on at all cost's, it's not at all like the finsih paint.
