Well I got my 92 Suzuki DT85 fired up. She runs great, no choke, and just a click on the key.
She pees like no tomorrow, but the port behind the engine, I will guess main exhaust, only has spray.
I think the thermostat has to warm up enough to open on this loop, not sure, but the water that does come out is cool enough, maybe upper 90's, to hold your hand under.
I am kind of paranoid to get her hotter at this point, to see if the thermostat opens more. The buzzer is activated, but I remember it would do that on my 30 too until it got hot enough. I hated the loud buzzer ARG.

Anybody got any thoughts?
I can take a picture and post it if that would help....

Thanks

not sure but you could be talking about the idle relief exhaust ports.
they relieve some of the back pressure while idleing and the leg is deep in the water.
most modern Motors on plane have exhaust flowing out of the prop.
Not sure if the Suzuki's put much water out of those ports.
Yamahas do not, at least not like the old Johnson/Evinrudes did
