So I boat this 1989 wellcraft 250 sportsman that partially sunk in freshwater and was under for. 4 days. The motor is a 1989 omc 200 seadrive that was under water for the 4 days and Is junk. The seadrive unit however works perfect. I've always liked the seadrive and would like to keep it. What year evinrude / Johnsons will bolt up to this seadrive unit? I've found a picture online of a 250 ficht ram bolted to it. Will an etec fit by chance?

If the Ficht will fit so will the E-Tec. If it was sunk in fresh water did you ever try to get it running ??

It will take a lot of adapting to put a 3.3 model on a 3.0 stump as adapter plate, plumbing and wiring harness connections, trim switch on cowling and air duct inside cowling will need modified.

So I once had a mercury 4hp knat. It was underwater for two weeks. Dried everything out, replaced coils. Ran great. Might be worth going over and see if you can get it runninig.

If it only sunk in fresh water, dry it out, clean it off and get it running.
