How often 2 use seafoam??

We are leaving fri. to go camping over the weekend, I have all the maintenance done on engine and sterndrive, Does every one use sea foam beganing every season? Is it ok to use full can for full tank(not sure gallons.)

1 oz per gallon; pour the rest in your car/truck.

I have used it as a fuel stabilizer, no problem treating the entire tank.

Thanks guys, I haven't used any this season, I'm trying to see in the manuals how many gallons I have. I didn't want to hurt the engine by using to much. RPM's still a little low, I hope this might help. Thanks Pat

You might also try the Deep creep aerosol version, it really cleans it up. You spray it in the Carb or into a Vacuum line on the Intake, if you don't have a carb.

This is what I have always used in the past, it works better than the stuff in the tank to me. I do both, but a good shot of the Aerosol version really works, then put a can in the tank to clean the rest out.

fill the tank, then figure the gallons, then dump it in.
It will be mixed by the time you hit the ramp.

Will do !! Thanks, I get get back on forum Mon. to let you all know how it went. I do have a couple of more questions too about spark plugs, I have them at .35(seloc man.) another manual says .40 another says .45 could this affect rpm's too

Where is seafoam and deep creep sold?
I'm in ontario and no boat dealers in my area have it.
Would the Canadian Tire motomaster "combustion chamber cleaner" do the job? It's not in an aerosol can and it says on the bottle to pour down throat of carb but that could be very hard on some motors depending on location and setup of carb. so do I mix it with the gas? I have seen this combustion chamber cleaner made by a few different companies but havent found seafoam or deepcreep.

OK, Thanks every one I found the little tag on tank(30gals.) I used it in my wifes jeep and I can tell a big difference, just like new. Thanks again..Pat

It cost about close to $8.00 US. I believe 16 fl. ounces I am picking some up today along with radiator fl. I can let you know when I get back..Pat

I followed the directions on the can.....poured about 1/3 of the bottle (very slowly) in the carb while it was running and the shut the engine down. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes....fired it back up. Smoked like crazy for a few minutes and you shoulda seen the gunk come out the exhaust
