How old is it?

I have a 2cyl. Hiawatha outboard, Model# 25-7871. can anyone tell me what size it is or how old it is?

Elkbery, I dont find a 25-7871 but I do<br />find 25-7971 47/48 5hp.<br /> It was built by the Gale devision of<br />OMC.While parts dont interchange directly year for year some similar E/J parts may fit your <br />motor.
