I have a 2hp Yamaha that i bought new about 4 years ago.I used it twice on my zodiac and came acrossed a great deal on a larger motor. The motor is absolutely brand new condition with a few little scratches on the skeg which I touched up with yamaha paint.I fogged it and store it in a heated basement ever since.I start it once a year and refog it.I am going to put it on ebay and want to know how I should price it?????I paid about $700 for it when I bought it.Charlie

Find out what a new 2hp Yamaha goes for and set your reserve around $50 to $100 below the current new price. $700 seems kind of steep for a 2hp, must be a 4-stroke.

Good Luck!

Thanks guys!!! it is not a 4 stroke. The 700$ may have been with tax,I dont remember.I took a peek at the new ones and I really dont see any difference.I guess they have kept the exact design. All I know is that whoever gets it is getting a brand new motor. Thanks again guys.Charlie
