how thick is 18oz woven roving?

i'm trying to calculate the amount of material needed to build up a 3/32" laminate (.094") approximately. anyone know? going to order from US composites, they list the thickness of most of their materials, but not the roving.<br /><br />thanks,<br /><br />matt

I don't know the exact measurment of 18oz woven roven but it is thicker than 3/32". Why so critical on the thickness?

not too critical. i just measured the laminate that covered the old floor and transom in my boat and i'm trying to replicate that as closely as possible. i've never done this before so i have no idea what to expect when i start building up layers.<br /><br />matt
