Mine's not new, 2000 Suzuki 4stroke, 115hp on the 18 SS. I've only really checked fuel consumption once. Ran 25 miles at various speeds(shake down cruise) and burned 5 gals. So 5 mpg average. I expect to do a little better when correctly propped and trimmed.

My little '66 20 hp will go through 3-4 gallons in a day on the water pushing my little 14' tinny around which usually includes several WOT runs of a couple miles each and some low speed cruising. My little 3 hp kicker is a little sipper though. It can take several trips to go through 1 gallon. I'm glad my fuel bills are only in the double digits.

I have never actually timed it but my 1975 Merc 650 65hp will suck my 6 gal tank dry in what feels like nothing.
My first few times out with it, I zipped around the lake and pulled back into the bay to find I had next to nothing left in the tank.

Most of the time avoid running it very long, I use the 65hp to just get out of the bay, then switch over to the kicker 9.8 hp merc 110
that little merc will sip the fuel, have been out trolling along for 8hrs before and still had a half tank (3gal tank)
