Hi,<br />I am trying tune up my 97 Mariner Marathon 25,<br />I did something and the engine begin bogging at sudden full throttle. I think I corrupted the hi speed solenoid, timing and throttle linkage adjustmens. <br />thanks

the engine is used for 5 months, 97 model but it was unused when I bought it. Story begin while I try to adjust air -fuel mixture by the reason of missing at idle, I did it and worked. Then I saw the throttle linkage nuts a bit loosed. I stratched them. After that I tried to adjust the idle screw. At the end the motor began to bog at sudden full throttle. <br />JB where are you??

You have to do it the way the manual tells you to do it. You will need the manual first. <br /><br />These procedures are gennerally not discussed here in detail as each particular motor is different.

OK. Yep, I understood. But I don't have a tune up and repair manuel, I tried to find but could't.<br />I have only the user manuel which I downloaded from Mercury official site. I need timing adjustment knowledge.<br />Thanks.
