I did a search but could not find an answer to my problem. I have a 22' walkaround that already has bottom paint. I will need to redo it next year. I know I can paint areas while it is on the trailer, but what about the areas under the bunks? Is there a way to safely jack up or elevate the boat? I dont want to purchase stands.

Ya, Then some cinderblocks,+ wood under the keel,+ lower the jack to do the forward areas...

I prefer to put some blocks under the transom and keel. Tie the stern to the house and drive the trailer out from under it.. Leaving the trailer under the front half. Paint the back half. Unhook the trailer from the car, and crank the trailer back under the boat. The front half of the boat is easy to paint while on the trailer. Hook the trailer back up and drop her in the water. Piece of cake.
